About Heather Marsh

Heather Marsh, the owner of Elements Skin Care & Massage Studio and its sister spa, Elements On the Plaza, is a licensed esthetician, certified massage therapist and licensed nail technician with over 15 years experience in the industry. She trained at the world-renowned Spa Luna Holistic School in Maui, Hawaii as well as at the Calistoga Massage School and the Sebastopol Massage Institute, both located in the beautiful Wine Country of Northern California.

Combining soothing elements from the Islands with more traditional techniques, she has developed specialized treatments that treat both body and soul. Having been trained in the use of numerous high-end skin care lines, she has selected Jan Marini and Image Skin Care because they use the best natural ingredients combined with the most revolutionary and effective technologies and have been proven to deliver the positive results her clients crave.

As your host, she is dedicated to ensuring that each visit to an Elements Spa is a journey into a world of total relaxation where clients escape from the stress of their busy lifestyles.


About Karen Rutkowski

Karen is a veteran in the business, having run her own day spa for over 11 years. We were delighted when she decided it was time to simplify her life and find a better balance between her practice and her passions – and joined our team.

A local gal, born and raised, she brings a wealth of experience and some exciting new treatments to Elements. She is trained in various aspects of massage (Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, hot stone and reflexology) and is highly skilled in skin care ranging from basic facials to advanced treatments (peels, acne treatments, etc.) with 11 post-grad sessions on skin care conditions and treatments under her belt! She performs a variety of manicure and pedicure treatments and is experienced in body and energy work, including Reiki and Rain Drop Therapy. Karen is also proficient in full body waxing.


About Veronica Schoeller

Veronica is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 8 years of experience. She gives an extremely relaxing massage with a strong, yet nurturing touch. Soft spoken, she exudes a sense of calm that soothes her clients from the moment she greets them. Her gentle yet effective touch has earned her the nickname ‘Magic Hands”.


About Julie Specht

With over 20 years in the industry, Julie is a certified massage therapist and medically-trained esthetician. A yoga instructor as well, she’s always had her roots firmly planted in fitness, nutrition and skin care. She received training at the Michigan College of Beauty and Calistoga School of Massage. She’s a Reiki master whose expertise in bodywork is evident in all her treatments! With her vast experience and having worked all across the country, her knowledge and training in all modalities truly enhance her clients’ experiences.


About Shalice Thomas

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Shalice is truly a West County gal. With over ten years experience, she has followed her passions into a career that lets her combine the two things she loves most – art and people.

Having trained at the Healing Arts Institute in Sacramento, Zenzi Beauty College in San Francisco and Lytle’s Beauty College here in Santa Rosa, she is a master nail tech, a skilled make-up artist and soon to be a fabulous esthetician.
